Mike and Katie were with us from Saturday all the way through Fat Tuesday. It was Mike's second visit to NOLA, but a Mardi Gras first for both of them. There was something special about seeing our 6th Carnival season through the fresh eyes of a first-timer.
Katie put me to shame with her bead-catching abilities and Mike and Hector were on board with anything we girls wanted to do. The weekend was an absolute blast and I can't believe it's already over.
Such a cute couple. Mike has definitely found his mate.
