I may have been absent in the blog world, but that doesn’t mean I was absent I life! All else aside, I did my best to live the fullest life I could over the summer and so far this Fall! It has been a B U S Y few months! Let’s see what all has happened, shall we? J

Two weeks ago my gym girls came to town! We paddle board yoga’d, enjoyed mimosas on the patio, enjoyed a charcuterie board made out of meats and cheese from Zingerman's, played with baby J, and spent a night on the town J I didn’t take as many pics as I normally do, but you get the gist from the few below!

Memorial Day Lovin’

Happy Memorial Day weekend friends! I hope you're off barbecuing, cocktailing and enjoying the kick off of summer.

Riverbank Run 2016

Yay for Riverbank Run! It was SOOOOO cold, but I was able to get mine, and Max's, butt out of bed and head downtown for the 7:00 am shot gun start. Some 20,000 participants hit the pavement for this race, the biggest road race in the nation. It's always so much fun to see the city come to life the way it does during this celebration. 

Congrats to all of the racers out there! Maybe I'll take on the 10k again some year....  (BBG keeps me plenty busy for now :)).

Wine Club #22 - Floral Wines

Oh Wine Club… my favorite night of the MONTH. The ladies came over to my house this month (because I lost… again….). But it’s all good cause I LOVEEEEE hosting and I LOOOOVEEEEEE showing off baby girl Rosie J This month the theme was floral wines, which includes, but is not limited to:

Viognier: vibrantly floral white with orange blossom, honeysuckle, peaches and apricots
Chenin Blanc: honey, honeysuckle, straw, melon
Torrontes: orange blossom, citrus fruit, sweet tropical mango and peach
Muscat: musky perfume and ripe grapes
Gewürztraminer: full-bodied, roses, gardenias, honeysuckles, mangos, peaches and spices
Riesling: apple and floral bouquet
Arneis: fragrant white with peach, apple and pear aromas
Albariño: almonds, peaches, apples and flowers

So yeah, never knew “floral wines” was a thing but I had a fun time picking out a good bottle from World Market.

Side Bar: I can’t believe I walked out of World Market with only two bottles of wine… color me crazy but that’s never happened. So proud (I may or may not be on coffee number 4 as I write this… oops).

Anyway, back to the point. Wine Club was fabulous. The food was delish. The ladies are my fav. Rosie was her adorbs self. The evening was a TON of fun. Friday was rough… I don’t think I could handle this night more than once a month! We sure go for it when that glorious night is upon us.
