JB & Me Blogger Event in Holland

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a blogger event in Holland, one of my favorite events to date. For some reason I was under the impression this was going to be similar to the Frances Jaye event I attended a couple of years ago in Holland, but the ladies of jb and me went above and beyond! The event totally exceeded my expectations!

We arrive, and immediately are welcomed by smiling faces and refreshments. There were delicious appetizers, yummy wine, a super fun selfie station, swag bags, henna tattoos and raffles, not to mention conversation with awesome bloggers from all around Southwest Michigan, most of which I had recognized from other events! One of the owners & founders even made an appearance! These ladies could not be any more fun! It truly was a jam packed, fun filled night from start to finish.

This place is PERFECT for the holiday season and will meet all of your gifting needs. So, go grab those special ladies of yours some awesome holiday gifts. I've personally already finished some holiday shopping myself!

It was a good week. Some serious weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I haven’t felt this light in months. It feels so good!! Tonight I’ll be celebrating the bride-to-be at her bachelorette, then spending the rest of the weekend catching up and relaxing with the fam on this Father's Day weekend!

Wolverine FNO 2014

I was invited back for the 2^nd Annual Wolverine Fashion Night Out, hosted by Tieka of Selective Potential. The evening was so much more than I ever expected. Similar to last year, the conversation, cocktails & appetizers were flowing all night. The 2013 event, held at The Reserve was geared towards women bloggers, but unlike last year, the event this year was hosted at Grand Rapids Brewing Company for both men and women “influencers” in the community! Everyone from bloggers, local boutique owners, photographers, marketers and entrepreneurs were in attendance! The energy of the room was so inspiring! I could have engaged in conversation for HOURS and hours about, well… anything! I had a blast catching up with ladies from last year’s event and loved meeting even more amazing people in the process. I even made some new friends J

A Night Out at Frances Jaye

Last Thursday, I was invited to a fabulous “holiday” inspired night out at a boutique in Holland, Frances Jaye. Tieka, of SelectivePotential, collaborated with the owners of Frances Jaye and together, they put on a really fun event, filled with wine, cupcakes, shopping and talking fashion. I brought Jenny along to enjoy the evening with me J

As a Thank You for attending, we were all given 10% of our entire purchase. The boutique had so many unique pieces of clothing to offer, I had a hard time sifting through the racks and deciding what I DIDN'T want to try on. Jenny and I had a blast putting on our own fashion show in the dressing room! But in the end, I ended up purchasing some leather shorts. Completely practical I might add. No, seriously! I've already worn them twice, with tights, bulky sweaters, and booties. They are really easy to dress up as well as down. I can’t wait to incorporate them into more seasonal options throughout the year.

All in all, the event was a huge success, and it was great catching up with Tieka!
