THROWBACK:
SO here’s to you G-ma and G-pa! You will forever be together on the beaches of the town that hold so many fond memories for each and every one of us.

This
past week we cheers’ed to my Grandparents in South Haven, MI. Members of our family
traveled from all over the country to enjoy a relaxed week in the beach town
that we spent countless summer vacations growing up.
The
week was full of emotion, some sad, missing our grandparents deeply, but mostly
happy, remembering the good times and the great lives that they both had. We
ate our body weight in hors d'oeuvres, played games on the beach, laughed at
home video’s, attempted to watch sunsets (unfortunately this week wasn't the finest weather we've seen in our South Haven history), went to some of the local
hot spots, like here and here, played cards while grilling and indulged in bubbly libations, all
things we've done over and over again in that awesome town. Activities that describe
how Court and my Grandparents LOVED spending their summer days and nights!
South
Haven has always held a special place in my heart (in all of our hearts!), and
always will. I look forward to bringing my kids there one day and reliving some
of my best childhood memories, and making new ones.
{if only we could have been in condo #8}
{a storm circled in on us pretty quickly day 1 of the vacation}
{eerie}
{the next generation... Baby Alice}
