FINALLY! 2 years after moving into our first home the landscaping is coming around! Max and I decided last Fall that as soon as the snow melted it was our goal to have all of our front yard landscaping complete by Summer. Max’s parents, both with background/experience with greenhouses, came up and designed it all. We sat on the lawn, stared at the layout, and organized plants based on size, color and seasonality. We’ve got some reds, some greens, some pinks, some whites… we’ve got it all! Each section scheduled to bloom at different times of year. We could not have done it without their help! I knew nothing about landscaping, plants, trees… nothing! And now I no longer know nothing (I learn every day). On Mother’s Day both sets of parents were at our house helping/cheering us (Max & papa Max) on as the bulk of the plants were put into the ground!!!

could not be more thrilled with how it turned out!! I’m so sad that it will
take a couple of years to fill out, but we’ll have so much fun watching our
little plant family grow (psshhhh 80 plants I guess isn’t little…).

I LOVE garden and plant posts!! They literally require no effort when it comes to finding beautiful images. You and Max have done a great job of creating an outdoor space to border your adorable home. I feel so lucky that I got to see it in person.
