I can't believe it's already over.
Meg and Max's wedding weekend was packed with so much anticipation, activity, joy and excitement...and then it all just flew by.
Some brides have post-wedding blues, knowing that the most exciting day in her life has just passed, but sisters who see each other 2-3 times a year have withdrawls of their own.
I miss my sister and, dare I say it, I kind of miss Grand Rapids.
During my trip to GR, Michigan, I had not only the wedding festivities to enjoy, I got to see the couple's new house for the first time, have lots of sister-pampering time and experience some of M&M's favorite hangouts.
[Excited & charged up on the way to the airport last week.]
[Soundtrack to boarding the plane...thanks for the rec, Meg!]
[QT with Mom & Dad]
[Rehearsal dinner spot. A favorite of Meg & Max's.
Great food. Really great beer. I paid this place 2 visits during my stay.]
[Amazing, thoughtful bridesmaids gift from Meggie.]
[Best man and I may have carved something into the wedding trolly]
[Couldn't get enough of the smooching with my husband.
Weddings have a way of bringing out the romantic side in other couples.]
[Just two married ladies enjoying the local beer.]
[Had to get a souvenir.]
[Soaking it all in before it's time to go home.]
I know that the memories made in the past 5 days will stay with me and keep me going for a long time to come.
Congrats to Meg & Max and cheers to my baby sister...who made a stunning and composed bride from start to finish.
CLINK!
Love love love this post. Can't wait for the day when you two (and me, of course) are closer, geographically speaking!!
